Problem:

 

How to meet the Queanbeyan Council’s brief to provide combined pedestrian and streetlighting that is more exciting than any equivalent project in the ACT.

RCE Solution:

The first step to creativity was to remove the up to 20 third party design reviews common in adjacent jurisdictions.

Secondly a stunning Sylvania product was used that provided compliant road and pedestrian lighting solutions in a combination of pedestrian lights at 4.5m (using “Oblique” fittings) and streetlights at 9.0m (using “Duplex” fittings).  Pedestrian lights were configured to mount to road light columns or to be independently mounted.
