Problem:

 

An award winning landscape project featuring pathway and general area lighting around the shores of Lake Ginninderra.  The project is proceeding in stages with Stage 2 now in construction.  The physical scale of the project demanded an effective yet economical solution.

RCE Solution:

 

RCE proposed a new fitting which combined low maintenance and exceptional performance resulting in 27m spacing between fittings.  This lowered capital cost as the 27m spacing of the chosen Louis Poulsen fittings exceeded the 18m spacing of alternative fittings – consequently a 30% reduction in fittings was possible.  The low number of fittings, combined with the low maintenance features of the specified fitting, will result in reduced ongoing maintenance costs.
